Before working with Global Edge Staffing, I was very skeptical about hiring a virtual assistant. I was also pretty ignorant about the process and wasn't sure if it would actually work for my business. Now that I've been working with Global Edge, it has been a huge weight off my shoulders. Working with Global Edge Staffing has been an exceptional experience from start to finish. The process began with a thorough intake where they took the time to understand exactly what our company needed. In our case, we were looking for someone who could truly run our finance processing area. Jackie presented two highly qualified candidates, and the hardest part of the process was choosing between them because both were excellent. I ultimately chose Erika, and she has become an absolute lifesaver for our team. She is organized, detail-oriented, hardworking, and an excellent communicator. Even though English is not her first language, I trust her completely to communicate with all of our vendors and customers. Erika brings incredible enthusiasm to every special project we take on. She handles her daily transactional responsibilities while also supporting a wide range of broader operational projects. She has created detailed documentation of our finance processes, restructured our Chart of Accounts into a more effective and actively managed system, and performed thorough backtracking of previously posted expense transactions to ensure they were properly categorized under the appropriate accounts and in compliance with tax regulations. She has also standardized our customer account setup to ensure consistent and accurate information. Additionally, she has successfully managed a major integration between QuickBooks Online and our online sales platform—streamlining our workflow from multiple steps down to just one. Finally, Erika oversees all of our payroll and coordinates contractor payments with accuracy and reliability. Global Edge Staffing not only provided us with a skilled Administrative Assistant but someone who has truly elevated the way our company operates.
